The Different Types of Balloons and Their Uses

Do you know the different types of balloons? There are a few different types, and each type has its own unique uses. In this blog post, we will discuss the four most common types of balloons: latex, foil, bubble, and Orbz balloon.  We will also talk about what each type is used for and how to use them.

Latex Balloons

Latex balloons are the most common type of balloon. They are made of natural rubber and are biodegradable. Latex balloons can be used for a variety of purposes, such as decoration, party favors, and even scientific experiments.

The latex balloons we offer in My Party Box are all biodegradable and environmentally responsible. We only use the highest quality of latex balloons - Qualatex / Sempertex / Tuftex. These companies provide superior balloon quality, which lasts longer, de-oxydeizes better, and has more vibrant colors.

Organic balloon garlands are all the rage, and latex balloons are the essential element. With a variety of sizes and colors available, you can create a beautiful organic look that will be sure to impress.

Orbz Balloons

Orbz balloons are made from metallic plastic and usually used for decoration because of their lustrous look. The most significant contrast between orbz balloon and ordinary round shape foil balloons is the 3D round shape appearance of orbz balloon; it looks like a perfect sphere. This makes for beautiful, attention-grabbing decor.

Helium

For a balloon to float, you need helium. Latex, Foil, Bubble and Orbz ball balloons can all be inflated with helium.

Regular size latex (11' or 12") balloons typically stay afloat for 9-12 hours when filled with helium. To make the latex balloon last even longer, add Hi-float which will keep it buoyant for up to 24 hours.

Foil Balloons, Orbz ball balloons and bubble balloons usually stay aloft for days at a time, so they can be filled one day in advance.

Balloon Weight

Balloon weights are essential for keeping your balloons in place. We offer a wide selection of balloon weights to choose from, so you can find the perfect one for your needs.
