The very first thing you need to consider when planning any party is setting up the budget you want to/ you can spend on. Once you have the budget, you can then make all other decisions accordingly. Next is deciding on the number of guests that will be invited - whether intimate family gatherings or large group of friends .
Once you have your guest list, now it's time to get out the invitations! Send them at least two weeks before hand so that people can plan accordingly. If possible, make sure they include an RSVP date and contact information in case guests need any further details regarding time or location of event etc.. It’s always good to have an idea of how many guests will be attending so you can plan accordingly. If possible, it's best to make your party on the weekend and in the afternoon or early evening as most parents would be free around that time
